is a Brooklyn-based actor, dancer, and singer. Jacob prides himself on his versatility and reliability as a performer. Most recently, he spent the summer performing in the American Repertory Theater’s world-premiere production of Florence Welch and Martyna Majok’s Gatsby, directed by Rachel Chavkin and choreographed by Sonya Tayeh. You may have seen him on Broadway in the Britney Spears jukebox musical Once Upon A One More Time (directed and choreographed by Keone & Mari Madrid), as Samuel Seabury in Hamilton, or in Andy Blankenbuehler’s Only Gold at MCC Theater.

Born and raised in the metro-Detroit area, Jacob grew up dancing competitively and calling soda “pop”. After graduating high school as a valedictorian, Jacob headed to Texas State University on a full-ride academic scholarship to train under Kaitlin Hopkins, where he graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in Musical Theatre and minor in political science.

In addition to performing, Jacob has worked as a writer, political messenger, and educator. During the pandemic, he served as head writer for the youth-led movement Settle for Biden (now Path to Progress)— which gained over 300K organic followers— and wrote speeches for Broadway for Biden, including for Stacey Abrams. In college, a play of his was chosen as a national semifinalist for KCACTF’s Ten-Minute Play Award. Jacob has taught musical theatre and dance master classes to high school and college students across the country, in addition to developing and teaching SAT prep courses. You can probably find him doing crossword puzzles, shopping for vintage clothing, trying the newest Brooklyn restaurant, working out at Bodied Fitness Club, or re-editing this bio to be less cringe.
